Circular Knitting Machine fabric

Weft knitted fabrics are made by feeding yarns into the working needles of the knitting machine in the weft direction, and each yarn is knitted in a certain order to form loops in a course. The warp knitted fabric is a knitted fabric formed by using one or several groups of parallel warp yarns to form loops on all the working needles of the knitting machine fed simultaneously in the warp direction.

No matter what kind of knitted fabric, the loop is the most basic unit. The structure of the coil is different, and the combination of the coil is different, which constitutes a variety of different knitted fabrics, including the basic organization, the change organization and the color organization.

Weft knitted fabric 

1.Basic organization

(1).Plain needle organization

The structure with the simplest structure in knitted fabrics is made up of continuous unit coils that are unidirectionally interlocked with each other.

(2) .Rib knitting

It is formed by the combination of the front coil wale and the reverse coil wale. According to the number of alternate configurations of the front and back coil wale, the rib structure with different names and performances. The rib structure has good elasticity and is mostly used in various underwear products and clothing parts that require stretch ability. 

(3). Double reverse knit 

The double reverse knit is made up of alternating rows of stitches on the front side and rows of stitches on the back side, which can be combined in different ways to form concave-convex stripes or patterns. The tissue has similar characteristics of vertical and horizontal extensibility and elasticity, and is mostly used in formed products such as sweaters, sweatshirts or children’s clothing.

2.Change organization

The changing organization is formed by configuring the coil wale of another or several basic organizations between adjacent coil wales of one basic organization, such as the commonly used double rib organization. Widely used in underwear and sportswear.

3.Color organization

Weft knitted fabrics are available in various patterns and colors. They are formed by weaving loops of different structures with various yarns according to certain rules on the basis of basic organization or changing organization. These tissues are widely used in inner and outer garments, towels, blankets, children’s clothing and sportswear.

Warp knitted fabric

The basic organization of warp knitted fabrics includes chain organization, warp flat organization and warp satin organization.

（1）.Chain weave

The organization in which each yarn is always placed on the same needle to form a loop is called a chain weave. There is no connection between the stitches formed by each warp yarn, and there are two kinds of open and closed. Due to the small longitudinal stretch ability and the difficulty of curling, it is often used as the basic structure of less-extensible fabrics such as shirting cloth and outerwear cloth, lace curtains and other products.

(2).Warp flat weave

Each warp yarn is alternately padded on two adjacent needles, and each wale is formed by alternate warp plaiting with adjacent warp yarns, and a complete weave is composed of two courses. This kind of organization has certain longitudinal and transverse extensibility, and the curling is not significant, and it is often used in combination with other organizations in knitted products such as innerwear, outerwear and shirts.
