According to feedback from cotton yarn traders and cotton spinning mills in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong and other places, orders for 16S-40S domestic knitting yarn have continued to rebound recently, and the inquiry and transaction are significantly better than woven yarn, and knitting yarn and woven yarn of the same count the spread even widened to 300-500 yuan / ton.

It is understood that since mid-July, the operating rate of circular knitting machines in Fujian, Zhejiang and other places has rebounded, and some knitting companies have received underwear, vests, T-shirts, bottoming shirts, leggings, children’s clothing and towels, socks, gloves and other knitting. There are domestic orders for cotton fabrics, and some foreign orders are exported to ASEAN and Southeast Asian countries, but high-value-added and high-profit orders such as high-end undershirts and small-sized poplin are relatively rare.

A weaving company said that since mid-June, the domestic cotton futures price has plummeted and the “paper profit” of most cotton spinning companies has been significantly improved, especially some small and medium-sized enterprises that buy on demand and have low raw material inventory, spinning profits. It is not uncommon for the operation of vigorously dumping goods and quickly destocking that needs to be cashed in time. There is a lot of room for profit on real orders, and there are more orders for T-shirts, leggings, children’s clothing, socks, gloves, etc. in recent July/August (domestic orders are mainly).
