In January-February 2024, Uzbekistan exported textiles worth $519.4 million, a year-on-year increase of 3%.

This figure represents 14.3% of total exports.

During the period, exports of yarn, finished textile products, knitted fabrics, fabrics and hosiery were valued at $247.8 million, $194.4 million, $42.8 million, $26.8 million and $7.7 million respectively.

Uzbekistan exported $519.4 million worth of textiles in the first two months of this year, up 3 percent year-on-year, according to official statistics. This figure represents 14.3% of Uzbekistan’s total exports.

Exported textile products mainly include finished textile products (37.4%) and yarn (47.7%).

During the two-month period, the Central Asian country exported 496 textile products to 52 countries, according to domestic media reports.

During the period, exports of yarn, finished textile products, knitted fabrics, fabrics and hosiery were valued at USD 247.8 million, USD 194.4 million, USD 42.8 million, USD 26.8 million and USD 7.7 million respectively.
